Nursery Update

32 Weeks!!

I just woke up from a 3 hour nap. It was pretty awesome. Usually I would feel guilty but I'm thinking its okay because I'm pregnant. The past couple of weeks we've been working on the nursery and I'm thinking it looks good. It doesn't look much like a baby's room though. It looks more like a child's room but hopefully Aubrey will like it for awhile. I don't think I quite grasp that I am going to have a newborn, it is as if I think I'm going to have a toddler right away. Everyone keeps telling me she is going to want to paint it pink and girlie as soon as she can talk. My aunt and I still have the crib bumpers to make but I have all the material and foam in now and the plan is to have it done this week before my aunt starts teaching on Monday.

This is a banner that I put together with ribbon, clothespins and alphabet cards. I have seen posters with similar graphics and they were all $50+. I made this for under $6! and I like it much more. A bonus is that the back of them have facts about the animals so we can unpin them later and teach Aubrey.

I had a few more projects I was going to do for the walls but I am kind of running out of wall space. I only have 8 more weeks till I have a baby, CRAZY!
