   I love love love this book! Probably better for older children. I recently found out this is a triology, with "Gathering Blue" and "The Messenger."
All Roald Dahl books are wonderful! (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory*, James and the Giant Peach*, Matilda*, The BFG, Danny the Champion of the World, etc...)
