Our Great Helpers

This post isn't exactly about recent events but I have nothing else to post at the time.

As we were getting our second home ready to live in this past summer (I like to act like I actually have two homes; one country home and one city home) we had an enormous amount of help. So many people came to help paint, sand cabinets, stain floors, haul away trailers full of trash and other tedious jobs. Matt and I really appreciated the help. Although at times we miss our new house that we left in the city, overall I think we are happy with the choice we made to be closer to family. I am especially happy about the decision now that we are expecting in October. We did not get as many before and after pictures as I now wish we had, the house is so different than it was when we got it. But here are some of the pictures...

Brother's wife, Jerri, painting end of hallway.

Matt hanging curtain rods in living room.

Mom painting guest room.

father-in-law, David, painting trim in office

Beautiful floor refinished by David and Matt mostly, with some help by my brother Josh and myself.

Thank you so much everyone that helped!
